Hey everyone, hope all is well with you! Today is a great day and the perfect day to start fresh and healthy! So in the spirit of the fall season, and the upcoming yearly renewal in January, I am launching the inaugural, annual event "Tallahassee Burn".
Tallahassee Burn is a self-reliant, self-motivated, get fit event happening once a year. Each year we will be starting a 3 month exercise program, beginning on October 1st, finishing on December 31st. If you want to "burn" some calories, fat and muscles, you are welcome to volunteer and join the event and exercise with us (even if not in Tallahassee).
This event is solely based on the honor system, you are responsible for any and all of the highs and lows of an exercise program, and keeping your self on track and motivated. Always check with your doctor before starting any exercise program.
This year we are choosing P90X in-home exercise program as our personal trainer, you can choose the same or another, it's up to you. You can also go to your gym as well. It's up to you!
Here's how it works, you only have 4 responsibilities.
1. Exercise 6 days per week, rest on the 7th day (Responsibility).
- Minimum 30 minutes per day, for 90 days.
2. Post your daily progress on your facebook page (Accountability).
- Include date, what you did, how you feel, and what day you are on (i.e. Day 37)
3. Rest and Eat the right foods for your activity (Management).
4. Finish (Reward)
